Salvation Army Wants White Donors To Offer A “Sincere Apology” For “Systemic” Racism

What was founded in 1865 in London, England, as both a protestant Christian church and an international charitable organization, the Salvation Army has now embraced Critical Race Theory.

Its first “red kettle” was set up in Oakland, California in 1891 and since then millions of people have dropped coins and bills into their kettles while a smiling person repeating ” Merry Christmas” rings a handheld bell perpetually.

Unfortunately, this Christian organization, like many others who have drifted away from the sole purpose of advancing the Gospel, is now embracing racist ideology peddled by anti-white activists including Ibram Kendi.

The organization is embracing the ideas of Black Lives Matter, an activist group, deemed as domestic terrorists by some, who are working to “dismantle white privilege” and “disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure.”

The Salvation Army’s leadership team just created an “International Social Justice Commission” which has developed and released a “resource” to educate its white donors, volunteers and employees called Let’s Talk about Racism. It asserts Christianity is institutionally racist, calling for white Christians to repent and offer “a sincere apology” to blacks for being “antagonistic.. to black people or the culture, values, and interests of the black community.”

“Many have come to believe that we live in a post-racial society, but racism is very real for our brothers and sisters who are refused jobs and housing, denied basic rights and brutalized and oppressed simply because of the color of their skin,” one lesson explains. “There is an urgent need for Christians to evaluate racist attitudes and practices in light of our faith, and to live faithfully in today’s world.”

In an accompanying Study Guide on Racism, Salvation Army authors explain that all whites are racist, even if they don’t realize it.

“The subtle nature of racism is such that people who are not consciously racist easily function with the privileges, empowerment and benefits of the dominant ethnicity, thus unintentionally perpetuating injustice,” it says.

“Sunday school curriculum that only uses white photography and imagery” is an example given that perpetuates injustice.

“We must stop denying the existence of individual and systemic/ institutional racism. They exist, and are still at work to keep White Americans in power,” the lesson says.

As for me and my family, we are done supporting all aspects of the Salvation Army until they repent, becoming un-Woke, once again focusing on helping and bringing people together, not dividing as corporate social justice activists.

I have for as long as I can remember donated to the, S.A., but if this article is true, and I.m not saying it is, but I will do some research. If I find it’s true the Army will have received the last donation from me. They have become the real racists by believing the unmitigated garbage being put out by the woke left and the BLM, leftists. Chose your choices wisely Salvation Army. Are you going to believe a bunch of leftists, who would rather see you fail and condemn the people who have been your biggest supporters of something that is totally untrue. If so, you may as well pack up your red kettles and go home.

No more dollars to the Army. Are you nuts. Who do you think donates. Yes white people and the more you tell me how I think about race the less I donate. I don’t think I’m alone.

I quit giving years ago and started giving to a local church which had a free clothes closet. The lady running the clothes closet told me a homeless man came to them looking for a winter coat….he had been to the Salvation Army and found one but he could not get it because he was on a voucher and he was short by $3.00. Someone referred him to the church for help and they found him two coats that he got free of charge. So who is the Christian in this situation?
