Southwest Employees Win — Company Scraps Plan to Punish Unvaccinated Employees

According to CNBC, Southwest Airlines has scrapped their plan to punish employees who refuse to take the COVID-19 vaccination.

On Friday, Southwest’s senior vice president of operations and hospitality, Steve Goldberg and vice president and chief people officer, Julie Weber, notified the company that unvaccinated employees would still be able to work past the originally planned December 8th deadline.

The decision by Southwest comes after the Southwest Airlines Pilots Association fought the company’s vaccine mandate in court.

“The new vaccine mandate unlawfully imposes new conditions of employment and the new policy threatens termination of any pilot not fully vaccinated by December 8, 2021,” the legal filing said.

“Southwest Airlines’ additional new and unilateral modification of the parties’ collective bargaining agreement is in clear violation of the RLA.”

Check out what CNBC reported:

Southwest Airlines has scrapped a plan to put unvaccinated employees who have applied for but haven’t received a religious or medical exemption on unpaid leave starting by a federal deadline in December.

Southwest’s senior vice president of operations and hospitality, Steve Goldberg, and Julie Weber, vice president and chief people officer, wrote to staff on Friday that if employees’ requests for an exemption haven’t been approved by Dec. 8, they could continue to work while following mask and distancing guidelines until the request has been reviewed.

The company is giving employees until Nov. 24 to finish their vaccinations or apply for an exemption. It will continue paying them while the company reviews their requests, and said it will allow those who are rejected to continue working “as we coordinate with them on meeting the requirements (vaccine or valid accommodation).”

“This is a change from what was previously communicated. Initially, we communicated that these Employees would be put on unpaid leave and that is no longer the case,” they wrote in the note, which was reviewed by CNBC.

Southwest confirmed the policy change, which comes just weeks before the deadline.

Compulsory vaccination is a use of government power to hype vaccine sales by monopolistic pharmaceutical companies. Sales of coronavirus vaccines should be prohibited. The Emergency Use Authorizations should be rescinded. They were predicated on applicants’ sworn representations that there was no alternative. Applicants knew this was false. So did the FDA. There are serious issues here of perjury conspiracy and bribery.

We’ve always had cheap safe and effective means to exterminate the coronavirus and prevent and cure infection by it. The vaccine lobby has been instrumental in sabotaging the use of such means, to avoid spoiling the market for vaccines. Had we started using them in the early Spring of 2020, the pandemic would be over by now, with no lockdown and at a mere fraction of the public funds frittered away on feckless restrictions and subsidies. Many deaths, much illness and enormous social and economic damage have been done to promote the sales of irrelevant vaccines, quite apart from the deaths and injuries directly resulting from the vaccinations themselves.

Exterminate the coronavirus. UV light kills it; certain frequencies have no effect on humans. Copper kills it. Salt kills it. Oxygen kills it. Doubtless many other safe and cheap measures kill it. No coronavirus, no coronavirus infection, right?

Hydroxychloroquine prevents and cures infection by coronavirus. Some other things do, too, but it might be the safest and most effective. Another medication safe and effective against coronavirus is ivermectin. Still another is Clofazimine, an old safe drug long used against leprosy. Correio da Manhã reports “Clofazimine is an ideal candidate for treating coronavirus” says Sumit Chanda, immunologist of the American Institute of Scientific Research. “It’s safe, affordable, easy to make, can be taken by mouth, and can be distributed world-wide.” (My translation)

Who takes coronavirus vaccinations voluntarily is foolish, given the risks and the fact they’re unnecessary. Coercing or inveigling people into taking them is cruel and criminal.

Early in the coronavirus pandemic some Chinese doctors who had been treating patients with hydroxychloroquine noticed they never got coronavirus. Elon Musk picked up on this. Then Donald J. Trump, whereupon a perfect propaganda storm was loosed upon hydroxychloroquine. Henry Ford Health Systems said in an open letter of 3 August 2020, “Unfortunately, the political climate that has persisted has made any objective discussion about this drug impossible, and we are deeply saddened by this turn of events.”

BoJo was probably cured by hydroxychloroquine, kept secret because NHS doesn’t allow it for the masses. Bolsonaro was probably cured by it. Trump and I have taken it for prevention. Maybe Trump stopped and that’s why he got infected. National Security Adviser Robert Charles O’Brien, Jr., and the late Herman Cain apparently didn’t take it for prevention. Articles in Lancet and New England Journal of Medicine claiming it’s inefficacious had to be retracted and withdrawn. Evidence of its effectiveness continues to mount. Over a hundred authoritative studies attest to its efficacy. Dr. Harvey Risch of Yale Medical says “The science that supports hydroxychloroquine is stronger than anything else that I’ve studied in my entire career. The evidence is overwhelming.” I’ll bet it’s good against the common flu, too, which also claims many lives despite widespread vaccination for many years.

India’s most populous state, Uttar Pradesh, had the coronavirus pandemic under control by handing out hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin like candy at Halloween, until the vaccine rollout. Then infections and deaths spiked.

With uncommon good sense, the government reverted to its prior successful practice of widespread generous distribution of hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. Infections and deaths resumed their decline.
